“What started as a hobby soon became a passion — a way to slow the world down frame by frame.”

Hello, my name is Matt Longobardi — a photographer and videographer based in Branford, Connecticut, and always willing to travel.
What began as a simple hobby quickly grew into a passion, inspired by my friend Griffin Pierson, who showed me how powerful storytelling through a lens could be.
Today, I balance two worlds: life as a police officer and life as a creative. Working long hours in law enforcement has taught me how fast life moves — and how easy it is to miss the moments that truly matter. Picking up a camera gave me a reason to slow down and notice the emotion and beauty most people rush past.
For me, it’s about turning raw, genuine moments into cinematic visuals that feel real — images that could live on film. My work leans toward a cinematic, film-toned, and moody aesthetic, but I always try to keep an open mind. Every shoot brings new energy, a new story, and a new way to see the world.
The Frame Collective isn’t about staged perfection — it’s about the stories that live between the frames.
